Pre & Post Treatment Guidelines

Pre -Treatment 


  • Identify your goals for the massage 
  • Fill in client consultation and send to Auri Massage 
  • Avoid caffeine for as long as possible prior to treatment
  • Avoid alcohol and non-prescriptive drugs 24-48+ hours prior to treatment
  • Avoid eating for 2 hours prior to treatment if possible or have something light 
  • Keep well hydrated 
  • Please bathe or shower before appointment 
  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing 

Post -Treatment 


  • Drink plenty of water to help avoid/clear headaches and dehydration
  • Refrain from alcohol and smoking for 24hrs if possible 
  • Eat well, get good nutrients flowing in your body and avoid heavy meals
  • Take some time to relax
  • Get a good night's sleep 
  • Get some fresh air at your earliest opportunity
